Meet Garrett Conn | Performance Coach

Hey, I'm Garrett Conn founder of Conn Human Performance and your coach.

Since you're here, let me take a second to actually introduce myself.

I live in Champlin, Minnesota with my wife Sarah…who is, I'll be fully transparent, more athletic than me and beats me at almost everything. It's fine…I'm fine….We have two incredible kids, Jett and Odette, and our dog Crue who holds the household together.

We are die-hard Minnesota sports fans of every team, every season.

(We don't recommend it if you enjoy emotional stability.)

A couple of things you might not expect from your coach: I used to coach high school gymnastics. And I've competed in two 24-hour obstacle races, including one where I dislocated my shoulder mid-race. I finished anyway. That's just how I operate.

I still train clients in person, but over the past several years I've built Conn Human Performance to reach high-performing professionals all over the country, people who are serious about getting their athletic identity back.

We program in three dimensions because life happens in three dimensions, not just sagittal-plane gym work. And we build every program with a floor and a ceiling. The floor is what you can hit in your worst weeks. The ceiling is what you push to when life cooperates. Both count. Both compounds.     ONLINE COACHING:

    The 9-5 Athlete Program is built for the person whose schedule, travel, or location means a gym visit isn't realistic week to week. You get a personalized program designed around your equipment, your time, and what your body actually needs. We use a coaching app to deliver the program, track your work, and stay in regular communication. You'll know what to do, why you're doing it, and what's coming next.

    IN-PERSON TRAINING:

    In-person training in Champlin or St. Paul is built for the person who wants the energy of being in the room, direct coaching, real-time correction, and the accountability of an appointment on the calendar.

    Same level of programming. Same coaching standard. Same outcome on the other side. The format is the only thing that changes.

  • Honest answer: You'll feel different in a few weeks. You'll move differently in a few months. You'll look different in a year. CHP isn't built around 30-day transformations.
