  • A custom training program is exactly what it sounds like: a training plan built around one specific person, you.   Its not pulled off a shelf. Your goals. Your schedule. Your equipment. Your training history. Your old injuries. Your life.

    At CHP, customized training in Minnesota runs through two different formats: fully online through the 9-5 Athlete coaching Program, fully in-person at my Champlin and St. Paul locations, or Hybrid Coaching, where we work together in person 1-2 times a week and the rest of the week runs through the coaching app.

  • A generic workout is built for everyone, which means it's built for nobody. Custom programming starts with you and works backward.

    Here's what that actually looks like in practice. A generic plan tells you to do four sets of 10 squats. A custom plan asks: how does your hip move? What's your knee history? How much time do you have on Tuesday? What did you do yesterday? What are we training toward in 90 days? Then it builds the squat work that fits the answers.

    Generic workouts ask you to fit yourself into the program. Custom programming fits the program to you.

  • Hybrid Coaching gives you the best of both formats. Here's what's actually in it:

    • 1-2 in-person sessions per week with me at the Champlin or St. Paul location

  • CHP custom programming is built primarily for people with an athletic background or previous training experience. If you played sports growing up, trained consistently at some point, or want to get back to who you used to be athletically, this is built for you.

    My customized training solutions in Minnesota are focused on restoring and optimizing athletic performance, not introducing brand-new trainees to fitness from scratch. If you're starting from zero, I'm happy to point you toward a better first step.

    With Hybrid Coaching, the coaching shows up in two ways. In person, you get direct, real-time coaching me watching the lift, calling the cues, making the call when something needs to change. Between sessions, you get app-based support: messaging access, program adjustments, and check-ins on the work you're doing on your own.

    You can message me through the coaching app between sessions. I respond within 24 hours during business hours. The program evolves as you do.

  • That's exactly what Hybrid Coaching is. We work together in person 1-2 times a week. The rest of the week runs through the coaching app custom programming for your home gym, your office gym, or wherever else your training happens.

    You get the in-person energy without needing to be in the gym five days a week. You get the app-based structure without losing the accountability of a session on the calendar with a real coach. Neither format alone covers both. Hybrid does.
